The Blue Startups Workshop was the first workshop of our Blue Skills Academy (Academia Azul). It was an opportunity for young people in Madeira to hear from successful ocean-based entrepreneurs in Portugal and beyond, learn the first steps for starting a business and practice presenting a business idea in small teams. We were delighted with the energy and ideas of our participants (all teams came up with excellent ocean-inspired business ideas!) and look forward to offering more events like this in future!
