Alejandro is a post-doctoral researcher from the University of Vigo in Spain. His research at MARE-Madeira focuses on the implementation of a new low-cost digital tag for the study of free-ranging squids, as well their trophic relationships with deep-diving cetaceans. Alejandro has a PhD in Marine Science from the University of Vigo, Spain; a MSc in Marine Science from the University of Vigo; and a BSc in Biology from the University of La Laguna, in the Canary Islands.
