Eliette is a research technician, part of the coordination and research team for the Atlantic Whale Deal project (2023-2026), led by MARE-Madeira. Before joining MARE, she worked as a Content Specialist with Frontiers for nearly 2 years, gaining experience in the scientific publishing industry. Eliette has an MSc in Marine Sciences from the Mediterranean Institute of Oceanography, Aix-Marseille University, her thesis focused on Population parameters and natural markings in Blainville’s beaked whales (Mesoplodon densirostris) in Madeira Archipelago. She also has a BSc (Hons) in Biology from the Catholic University of the West (UCO), France.
