Emanuel is a research collaborator for MARE-Madeira based on Porto Santo Island, where he divides his time between research and education. His research utilises diving as a way to investigate biodiversity, marine conservation efforts and costal ecosystems. He has a MSc in Aquaculture and a BSc in Marine Biology and Biotechnology.
