Joana Camacho has just finished high school at Escola Secundária de Francisco Franco. She is a young dreamer and since her childhood has felt a strong connection with the sea. Over the years, she's wanted to be a teacher, a dolphin trainer, and even a volcanologist. However, when she was in 7th grade she discovered the world of marine biology and since then her curiosity and love for this area has not stopped growing. Her next step is to pursue Marine Biology at IPLeiria, in Peniche. As a Youth Ambassador, she intends to share her passion and captivate the younger generation, in order to deconstruct old beliefs and inspire new habits such that, all together, we can take care of the environment in the way it deserves.
