Margarida is a PhD candidate in Philosophy from the University of Bristol UK. She also has a PhD in Biology from the University of Porto, Portugal. She has research experience across marine biology, fish parasitology, and fisheries and her current research sits at the intersection of Philosophy of Biology and Metaphysics. She is interested in exploring questions such as the nature of life and how it persists.
