Nuno has a PhD in Marine Sciences from the University of Lisbon, which he conducted in association with MARE-Madeira. His research interests and expertise lie in marine biological invasions around Macaronesia, including introduction pathways, dispersal and climate change interactions. Nuno also has a MSc in Marine Science (University of Lisbon).
