Alex is a Youth Ambassador at MARE-Madeira and a Biology undergraduate at the University of Madeira, currently completing his bachelor’s degree. While his main academic interests lie in physiology, microbiology, oncology, and medical sciences, conversations with MARE-Madeira colleagues such as Patrícia Nunes and Professor Manfred Kaufmann ignited a curiosity to join the team and be part of a movement towards change and education.
