Anita holds a BSc in Biology from the University of Bologna and an MSc in Marine Biology from the University of Algarve. Her main areas of work include the photo-identification of short-finned pilot whales (Globicephala macrorhynchus) and the development of educational and outreach activities related to marine conservation. She is currently working as a research technician within the Seamphoni Project at MARE-Madeira.
