Alejandro is a PhD candidate at MARE in association with Ciências do Mar, University of Lisbon, where he is evaluating human impacts on macroalgal forests. Alejandro's research interests revolve around benthic communities, their ecological status and their potential impacts from climate change. He has a MSc in Marine Biology (University of Santiago de Compostela) and a BSc in Biology (University of Seville).
