Ashlie McIvor

Ashlie is a La Caixa INPhINIT Doctoral fellow at MARE-Madeira in association with the University of Lisbon. She is currently investigating the occurrence of marine apex predators and how they are impacted by anthropogenic pressures in a remote, insular habitat. She has broad interests in anthropogenic impacts on marine predator movement ecology and is working closely with local and international stakeholders to promote their conservation. Ashlie has a MSc in Marine Science and Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudia Arabia and a BSc (Hons) from the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) in the UK.
