Catarina has just finished high school at Escola Secundária Francisco Franco. She came to Madeira when she was only 5 years old and her love for this astounding island hasn’t stopped growing ever since. Although her next step is to pursue Medicine at ULisboa, she doesn’t underestimate the value that taking care of our surroundings has on our daily lives. Therefore, as a Youth Ambassador, she aspires to evolve a more prosperous and eco-friendly community. Being able to demystify concepts and dismantle people’s negative attitudes toward our environment is, for her, one of the most important aspects in order to raise younger people's awareness.
