Francesca is a post-doctoral fellow for MARE-Madeira. She is interested in biological and ecological processes, including the effect of human pressure and climate change. Her current research focuses on the risk assessment of non-indigenous species in the Macaronesia region. Francesca has a PhD in Biodiversity and Evolution from the University of Bologna and is a scientific diving instructor (AAUS).
