Hervé Pedro Vela is a PhD student at the University of Madeira, researching Land Cover and Landscape Characterization in Angola (Africa) in the Huíla region. He has a master's degree in Spatial Planning and Geographic Information Systems from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a Degree in Educational Sciences-Geography Option, from the Instituto Superior de Ciências de Educação da Huíla-Angola (Africa)
