I am a master's student of textile design from the Czech Republic. I focus primarily on sustainability and an environmentally friendly approach in this industry. I became an ambassador for MARE-Madeira during my Erasmus+ study abroad program in Madeira. I have long been interested in biology and ecology, and I enjoy introducing people to these topics through design and artwork. I apply my enthusiasm for nature and education in my field to popularize science and research. As an ambassador, I help spread MARE-Madeira's mission to a wider audience, because as Sir David Attenborough said, "after living for nearly 100 years on this planet, I now understand the most important place on Earth is not on land, but at sea," so we should take care of it.
