As a long-standing research technician at MARE-Madeira, Soledad's research and technical expertise spans many areas. Her primary interests are in understanding the threat of marine litter in ecosystems, marine biological invasions and how ocean literacy can lead to a better marine environment. Soledad is also trained in scientific illustration.
