Sonia has a PhD in Biological Science from the Faculty of Science of Bizerte (Carthage University) in Tunisia. She has broad interests across marine biodiversity and community ecology. Her research to date spans jellyfish diversity, trophic ecology and biogeography and plastic marine pollution impacts.
