Carla Freitas is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Marine Research in Norway and Research Collaborator at MARE – Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre.
Carla has a PhD degree in Biology at the University of Tromsø (Norway). She has postdoctoral experience both from Norway (Norwegian Polar Institute and University of Agder) and Portugal (Oceanic Observatory of Madeira). Carla works with spatial ecology and the functional role of top predators in marine ecosystems.
